Tony Buxton joins the show to talk about alternative energy in Maine.

Tony Buxton is a partner at the law firm Preti Flaherty, where he serves as chair of the firm’s Energy and Utilities Practice Group. Buxton creates solutions to business energy problems, including the challenge of high-energy costs. Since 1988, Buxton has been listed in Woodward/White’s “The Best Lawyers in America.”

Throughout New England, Preti Flaherty works to help some of the region’s most successful companies grow and thrive. Buxton is currently working to develop a natural gas pipeline up the Kennebec River Valley that he says will save the area $40 million in energy savings per year.

In this segment, Stevoe and Buxton discuss the need for alternative energy in the United States, the benefits and challenges of using natural gas, and the effects of Maine’s energy policies on the public.

Keller’s newest publication,”The Face-to-Face Book” outlines how businesses—both big and small—can best succeed by focusing on what people do and say in real life as well as online.

During this segment, Keller and Stevoe talk about the recent evolution of communication, and how the future of marketing will focus on social consumers.  Keller and Stevoe also discuss the value of experiential marketing as a means for brands to build meaningful relationships with consumers.
