Prior to Summit Natural Gas, Duguay served as the director of economic development for the City of Augusta. \u00a0In his role, he provided direct services to businesses ranging from government liaison assistance to incentive packages. Responsible for creating and implementing economic growth strategies for the City of Augusta.<\/p>\n
Duguay has also served as the executive director of the Mid-Coast Council for Business Development (MCBD) in Brunswick, Maine.\u00a0 At MCBD, he managed a 501c (4) private development corporation that served Brunswick, Bath and Topsham and that was tasked with business attraction, business expansion, business retention and business lending.\u00a0 Duguay also served as a business development specialist with the State of Maine\u2019s Department of Economic and Community Development.<\/p>\n
Started in 1997 by Mike Minkos and Tim Johnston, Summit Natural Gas of Maine is a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc.\u00a0 Headquartered in Augusta, Summit Natural Gas of Maine has already installed more than 130 miles of pipeline in central Maine which will create more than 400 jobs by building a natural gas pipeline to serve 15,000 homes and businesses in the Kennebec Valley within five years. \u00a0Additionally, they plan to install nearly 250 miles of pipeline in Cumberland, Falmouth, and Yarmouth creating an estimated 200 jobs, which will serve about 8,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in the three towns over the next five years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
