Show:<\/strong> 196 Tim Wilson, originally from Pittsburgh, has lived two lives at the camp in Otisfield where Seeds of Peace now resides. In 1960 he was the first black counselor at a white summer camp in Maine (Camp Powhatan<\/a>) and by 1993 he was back at the same camp helping John Wallach transform it into a place “for the children of war to plant the seeds for a more secure future.” He’s been there in one way or another ever since and this year Seeds of Peace<\/a> will be celebrating 25 years in Otisfield.<\/p>\n
